My story
I’ve been cross-stitching since I was 15. I was inspired when I saw cross-stitched video game characters in a gaming magazine, and l immediately learned how to stitch from YouTube tutorials so I could pay homage to my favorite games. After stitching enough sprites (pieces of video game pixel art), I learned to create my own designs, pixel by pixel. Over the years, I’ve picked up more and more textile mediums and taken my hobbies more seriously. I am currently pursuing a degree in Textiles from California College of the Arts.
