About me

I am a textile artist from West Texas, now based in Berkeley, California. I was introduced to fiber arts through cross-stitch of pixel art from the videogames I grew up playing. From there I learned embroidery and quilting before pursuing a BFA from California College of the Arts where I learned weaving, spinning, and knitting. In my work I focus on balance between opposites: simplicity and complexity, order and chaos, pattern and glitch.
